Porthtowan
in Cornwall (located between Newquay and St Ives) is a small
unspoilt village nestling into cliffs, with a fabulous sandy
beach, which is a surfers paradise. Local surf school, ‘Blue
Bar’ on the beach and the Unicorn pub both serving
good food, local shops and post office. Lovely walks along
the coastal path to heritage sites.

is a lovely apartment almost on the beach, which is in sun
for most of the day. It has two bedrooms sleeping 4, plus

with patio doors opening on to a veranda overlooking the

Large Sandy Beach at Porthtowan is perfect for
all the family and is patrolled by lifeguards throughout
the summer season. For the kids there are rock pools to
explore whilst for the energetic Porthtowan is one of Cornwall's
renowned surfing beaches.
Like
Rambling Walks? The beach has excellent coastal
paths on either side of the beach (so not far too walk to
start your walk) with breathtaking views.
For
Days Out the towns of Newquay, Padstow (with Rick
Stein's restuarant), Penzance, Lands End, Falmouth and St
Austell are all within a short distance with Dartmoor National
Park and the English Riviera slightly further on.
